Maidens, Mothers and Crones: The Women of the Midwest World Premiere! A new play created by Tony Caselli, Annie Martin and Suzi Regan May 8 - June 1, 2008 This exciting and original new piece, inspired by and including submissions from women of all walks of life, tells the stories of the women from the Midwestern United States. Exploring the common thread linking women of all ages and backgrounds, we'll shine a light on the modern woman's experience and reach into history to look at the influences that touch us today. With stories ranging from the hilarious to the heartbreaking, we'll examine the life of the Midwestern Woman. This unique theatrical journey is the first installment of Williamston Theatre's new series Voices From The Midwest. By assembling stories from people all over this part of the world, this three-season project will explore the challenges and gifts of a life in the American Midwest. This production is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
